Under the patronage of the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Hussein Al-Sharif and the supervision of the chairman of tropical medicine and gastroenterology department Prof. Dr. Ihab Fawzi, a workshop on Anti- Infection Standard Precautions was held today corresponding to 1st of Feb. 2017. The workshop included 30 members of the hospital’s nursing staff, it handled:
- Hand washing
- Safe injection
- Waste separation
- Environmental safety
- Recycling and processing surgical instruments
The workshop was lectured by doctors from the faculty of nursing, universities of Aswan and Assiut. On the sidelines of the workshop, the department of tropical medicine and gastroenterology introduced what will be held during the next three days.
