The administration of Aswan University’s Faculty of Medicine, represented by Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty, is eager to obtain the highest degrees in various fields. In this regard, it works to be among the most advanced universities in evaluating the scientific fields issued by it, whether at the local or international level, to achieve greater benefit for researchers on the one hand and help the university rise in global rankings on the other.
On May 18, 2020, Aswan University Medical Journal (AUMJ) was established and assigned an international number.
The magazine received 4 points in the Supreme Council of Universities’ evaluation of Egyptian and local magazines in May 2021, and the review was re-evaluated in July 2022 to obtain 6 points.
It was added to the Egyptian Knowledge Bank website in March 2022, as well as added to the World Health Organization’s Middle East magazine in November 2022:
