Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghellab and the supervision of the dean of the faculty of archaeology Prof. Mohamed Gabr and the faculty of medicine’s vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Mohamed Zaki Dahshoury and the faculty’s vice dean of community service and environmental development Prof. Mustafa Adam Ali, the faculty of archaeology in cooperation of the department of public health and community medicine at the faculty of medicine organized a symposium on the dangers of smoking and drugs entitled “Pay Attention … and Correct Your Destination”.The event was held on Sunday morning corresponding to 21st Oct. 2018 and targeted the students of the faculty of archaeology. It was attended by Dr. Shaima Sayed Abdel-Rahim, lecturer in in the department of public health and community medicine, a group of the department’s and the faculty of archaeology’s academic staff and their assistants as well as the faculty students.
