Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and in the presence of the vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Hanan Abdel Moneim, the first day of the workshop on training on how to use and activate the activities of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank EKB was launched on Sunday morning corresponding to 21st Oct. 2018 and is scheduled to continue till tomorrow. The session was lectured by Dr. Muhammad Hassan Jadallah, consultant of digital libraries unit at the Supreme Council of Universities as well as specialized professors from the EKB. Among the attendees were the university’s development project managers, a group of the academic staff and their assistants in addition to students from various faculties. The workshop handled the EKB portals, the steps of registration to create a personal account, the available resources in the bank and how to benefit from them.
