Tanzanian Minister of Health honors the medical staff of Aswan University medical convoy

Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury – Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Head of the Medical Convey to Tanzania stated that the medical convey has been honored by the Tanzanian Minister of Health Mr. Nassour Ahmed who stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

For his part, the Tanzanian Minister of Health thanked the medical convey for its medical services which its total number of specialties achieved to 170 various cases over the course of a week including 49 urology surgery cases and hundreds of endoscopic examinations and checkings for the patients with providing free treatment.

Tanzanian Minister of Health gave especial thanks to Aswan University Management under the auspiece of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Acting of Aswan University President, plus handing over the ministry’s shield to the medical staff and holding a dinner party in one of the biggest hotels in the airport ( Zanzibar) in the attendance of Dr.Yaequb Shawka-Responsible of the Ministry of Health (Pampa), Dr.Abdulrahman Mohammed-Manager of Sheki Bamba& Whitty Hospital.

On another side, the medical staff handing over certificates of appreciation to who has been represented by Dr. Ahmed Salah-Assistant Lecturer in the Urology Department in the Faculty of Medicine-Aswan University and a member of the medical staff in the medical convey, and all the members of the medical convey including doctors from (Sohaj University, Sudan and Kingdom Saudi Arabia); in appreciation for their prominent humanitarian and medical role that they provided to treat the patients in Tanzania who expressed about the extent of the advancement of the medical services that were provided to them as well as expressing their thanking to the Faculty of Medicine.
