On Thursday morning, December 11, 2025, the oral examinations for the Master’s Degree (Part I/II) and the Doctorate Degree (Part I) were held at the Department of Anesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care, Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, at Aswan University Hospital.
The examinations were conducted under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dashoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and Prof. Ashraf Maabad, Director of the Surgery Hospital. They were supervised by Prof. Ahmed El-Saeed, Scientific Supervisor of the Department of Anesthesia at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and Professor of Anesthesiology at Sohag University, along with Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Administrative Supervisor of the Department of Anesthesia at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University.
The examinations were also attended by Dr. Saud Salah, Lecturer of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University.
The examining committee comprised a distinguished group of professors of anesthesiology from various Egyptian universities, including:

Prof. Sahar El-Qardawy – Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Research Institute, Alexandria University.
Prof. Essam Manna – Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management, Assiut University.
Prof. Mohamed Youssef – Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management, Assiut University.
Prof. Ashraf Amin – Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management, Assiut University.
Prof. Wissam El-Amrawy – Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Research Institute, Alexandria University.
Prof. Ayman Mohammadi El-Demerdash – Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University.
The committee praised the examinees for their outstanding performance and wished them continued success in their academic, professional, and personal lives. They also expressed their appreciation to all faculty members, their assistants, and the department’s physicians for their efforts in organizing and ensuring the success of the examinations.
On the sidelines of the event, Prof.Sahar El-Qardawy delivered a specialized workshop entitled “Injection and Anesthesia of Nerves under Ultrasound”, during which she shared her expertise with young physicians and highlighted the latest advancements in the field of anesthesiology.
