The deadline for submitting graduate students’ research protocols and proposed topics is January 2025

The Graduate Studies and Research Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan, under the leadership of Prof. Mustafa Adam El-Tiri, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, announces that the Graduate Studies and Research Committee and the Research Ethics Committee will convene on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the meeting hall at the Dean’s Office, Aswan University Hospital.

Submission Deadlines for Graduate Students (Master’s & PhD)

Submission of Master’s and PhD research protocols and postdoctoral research proposals:
Monday, December 29, 2025

Submission of graduate studies topics:
Monday, January 5, 2026

Important Notes

-Six (6) Master’s research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; any additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.

-Four (4) PhD research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; any additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.

-Five (5) postdoctoral research proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; any additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.

-Master’s and PhD students whose research protocols are scheduled for discussion before the Graduate Studies Committee must wear a white coat during the session.

-Applicants must strictly adhere to the official form prepared by the Postgraduate Studies Department and follow all related instructions, which can be accessed via the designated link.

-Students whose research protocols are approved must:

-Send an electronic copy to the committee members via email at
postgraduateethicsmembers@aswu.edu.eg, and

-Submit a hard copy, duly approved and signed by their supervisors, to the Postgraduate Studies Office at the Faculty.

– Any submissions received after the stated deadlines will not be considered.
