Under the patronage of Prof.Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan University President, Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Dr.Mohamed Salahuddin, Manager of Aswan University Hospital, in the attendance of Prof. Mohamed Mustafa Hussein, Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Aswan Medicine hosted an Egyptian Knowledge Bank workshop on the usage of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank’s “Clinicalkey” database today, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the headquarters of Aswan University Hospital by a specialist from the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
The audience included academic staff, assistants, researchers, and undergraduate and graduate students. The workshop begins with an explanation of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank’s portals, followed by the registration steps for creating a personal account, and finally a detailed description of the “ClinicalKey” database and how to use it.
”Younies” Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs, greeted the lecturer and attendance, confirming the workshop’s significance in the field of work and study to enhance the beneficial average of researchers from the database and portal’s information resources (EKB).
He explained that the medical browser (ClinicalKey) is easily accessible on mobile devices, facilitating the acquisition of medical content, its application, and participation. It also contributes to improving education quality in the faculty and assisting students in learning more effectively, owing to the variety of its content and the simplicity with which data can be reached.
