Since the department’s inauguration in 2013, we are committed to developing and providing it with all modern equipment in order to be a base of a global medical center for vascular surgery in Upper Egypt to serve the governorates of Aswan, Luxor and Qena. It is developed by loyal doctors of the academic staff, their assistants, and resident doctors. Now we are able to deal with all critical and complicated cases who find it difficult to reach the nearest vascular surgery center in the past. We also have a unit for treating cases of coronary artery disease through peripheral vascular catheter without Truncate. We are still racing against time to reach a level that meets the ambitions of Aswan university hospital’s patients.
