The Department of Vascular Surgery provides various services; it provides educational services for faculty of medicine’s 6th Year students. It also provides treatment services for Aswan’s as well as Upper Egypt’s patients as follows:
- Treatment of diabetic foot patient
- Making arteriovenous fistula for patients with chronic kidney failure.
- Receiving all cases of vascular injuries and acute arterial and peripheral venous thrombosis.
- Treatment of patients with varicose veins through injections and modern interventions such as laser and thermal radiofrequency or conventional surgery.
- Treatment services for patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) through the interventional catheter unit under the supervision of a selected group of distinguished university medical staff.
