
Today corresponding to 8th Feb. 2017, the 13th mutual conference of Egypt Society for Vascular Sciences in cooperation with Aswan university headed by the acting president Prof. Abd Al Qader Mohammed Abd Al Qader, the 19th congress of the International Federation for Vascular Sciences and Surgery, North Africa Wing, the 27th Conference of the Mediterranean Sea Society of Vascular Sciences and Surgery headed by Prof. Emad Al Dein Hussin, professor of vascular surgery in Ain Shams faculty of medicine and the deputy chairman of the international federation was held today corresponding to 9th Feb. and is scheduled to continue 11th Feb. 2017. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Ayman Fakhry, professor of vascular surgery at military medical academy and the general secretary of Egypt Society for Vascular Sciences. The conference is a significant opportunity to exchange medical experiences between the professors of Aswan University and the universities of Rome and Padua in Italy. Dr. Abdel Qader affirmed that Aswan university seeks to attract professors in vascular surgery field to exchange medical experiences that will promote the health system in Aswan university hospital and to hold such medical conferences in Aswan governorate, which receives a lot of patients from Upper Egypt governorates in the university hospitals. Dr. “Fakhry” added that the conference will introduce many lectures on the solutions available to treat obesity via innterventional catheterization. Jordanian Society for Diabetic Foot also participates in the congress. Dr. Said Al Mallah, head of Egypt Society for Vascular Sciences, said that for the first time efforts are concerted to hold a joint conference between the International Federation of Vascular Sciences and Surgery, the Egypt Society for Vascular Sciences and the Mediterranean Society for Vascular Surgery. He added that more than cooperation protocol will be signed serving medical system at Aswan University.
