Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Hussein Al Sharif, the faculty of medicine held the Scientific Day of the Department of Internal Medicine 2nd – 3rd of May 2017.
Dr. Hala Al-Obaidi, scientific coordinator of the internal medicine department and head of the dialysis unit, said that a scientific symposium will be held on the sidelines of the Day on “Effective Presentation Skills” for academic staff and their assistants.
The second scientific day will be held on May 19, 2017 on “Basics of Kidney Diseases”. After that, lectures will be delivered on kidney diseases and how to diagnose, treat and prevent them followed by a workshop for resident doctors through the upcoming scientific days.
