Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshoury– Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and head of the medical convoy team in Tanzania, explained that the medical convoy work comes into the framework of the regional and international role of Aswan University toward the external community in the African continent under the directives the President /Abdul Fattah Al Sisi-President of the Republic, and works on extending the roots of fruitful and cooperative cooperation between Aswan University and African universities, especially after the decision of the President of the Republic about making Aswan governorate the capital of culture, economy and Arab and African youth for Africa continent.
Adding His Excellency, Monday is considered the third day of the medical convoy that was launched in Sheki Pemba Island Hospital for the urology department by the leadership of His Excellency and more than (228) various medical cases have been examined for Tanzanian citizens in the specialties of urology and orthopedics also (30) surgical cases have been conducted and (40) cases have been telescoped and conducting (4) precise surgical operations for various malformations of children in the urology department which need to precise surgeries.
Prof.Hisham Al Rifai-Head of the Orthopedics department in the university hospital and among the medical convoy in Tanzania state, in addition to examining (30) orthopedic cases and (5) high skill surgical cases have been conducted and this among the medical convoy work which is concluded with checking on statues of patients after surgical operations that the medical convoy did in various specializations; the number cases reached to (228) examining and diagnosing cases and conducting (30) surgical operations.
