In order to implement the continuing medical education policy, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology holds monthly scientific meetings and completes a series of monthly activities to stay up to date on all that is new in this field, under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman -Aswan University President, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, Dr. Ashraf Ma’bad – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals.
Today, Thursday, February 23, 2023, the activities of the Scientific Day of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology were launched, with the honor and presence of Prof. Abdou Saeed Ayatullah – Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sohag University and Scientific Supervisor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Din Fahmy – Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Aswan Medicine, where the scientific day dealt with a scientific lecture entitled:
”Placenta accreta and modern methods of diagnosis and treatment during pregnancy”
The attendees included academic staff and their assistants, doctors in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Aswan University Hospital and outside the university, doctors of the governorate and the Ministry of Health, and postgraduate students (Masters and Ph.D.).
