Pediatrics Department Organizes Training Course on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

  To complete the series of courses organized by the department of pediatrics in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the cardiopulmonary resuscitation course for the sixth time in a row was launched today, Monday, January 31, 2022, at the training center at Aswan university hospital “Aswan University Center – LSTC” under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El Dahshoury, dean of the faculty of medicine and chairman of Aswan university hospitals, and Dr. Ashraf Meabed, executive manager of Aswan university hospitals, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Bahaa El Din El Amir, chairman of the pediatric department.

  Aswan training center is the first at the level of Upper Egypt and the 2nd at the level of the republic to obtain the accreditation of the American Heart Association for basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Today, Dr. Yahya Mohamed Hassan, assistant lecturer in the department of pediatrics, trained internship students, as the center aims to raise the level of medical competence and graduate medical cadres capable of serving patients of different age groups. The center trains internship students as well as workers in the medical sector of doctors and nursing staff from inside and outside Aswan governorate.
