The Postgraduate Studies and Research Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, under the supervision of Prof. Mostafa Adam El-Tiri, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, announces that the meetings of the Graduate Studies and Research Committee and the Research Ethics Committee will be convened on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Dean’s Office at Aswan University Hospital.
The deadlines for postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD) are as follows:
-Submission of Master’s and PhD research protocols, as well as postdoctoral research proposals:
Monday, June 29, 2026
-Submission of postgraduate research topics:
Monday, July 6, 2026
Important Notes
-A maximum of six (6) Master’s research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. (Any additional submissions will be postponed to the following month).
-A maximum of four (4) PhD research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. (Any additional submissions will be postponed to the following month).
-A maximum of five (5) postdoctoral research proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. (Any additional submissions will be postponed to the following month).
-Master’s and PhD students presenting their research protocols for discussion before the committee must wear a white lab coat during the session.
-All protocols must be prepared in accordance with the prepared template approved by the Postgraduate Studies Sector and follow the accompanying guidelines through the following link.
Students whose protocols are accepted must:
-Send an electronic copy to the committee members via email at postgraduateethicsmembers@aswu.edu.eg.
-Submit a hard copy, duly approved and signed by their supervisors, to the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty.
-Submissions received after the specified deadlines will not be considered.
