Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of the University, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the activities of the first days of the first conference of the Department of Urology and Reproductive Surgery at Aswan Medicine began today, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the Isis Hotel, under the supervision of Prof. Gamal Ghoneim – Professor of Urology at the University of California, USA and Honorary President of the Conference, and Prof.Mohamed Mustafa Hussein Younis – Head of the Department of Urology and Genital Surgery at Aswan Medicine and President of the Conference, in the presence of Prof.Ashraf Maabad – Vice Dean for Community Service and Development Affairs. Environment, and Prof.Mohamed Rabie, Director of the Surgery Hospital, which is scheduled to continue until Friday, March 1, 2024. The conference discussed:
” What’s new in urology and reproductive surgery”
At the beginning,” Othman” Aswan University President welcomed the gentle audience, wishing them happy accommodation at Aswan Governorate, hoping that the conference would be beneficial for all attendees, confirming the importance of holding these conferences to transfer knowledge from professors to young doctors as well as to raise the value of Aswan University in the global rankings.
”Al-Dahshoury” dean of the faculty declared that three workshops had preceded the conference around February 26–27 at the headquarters of Aswan University Hospital (20) surgical operations for women, men, and children, where a medical team participated in a workshop from Texas, California, the United States of America, the sister state of Kuwait, and Egyptian universities.
”Younis”, Head of the Department and Conference, explained that the preparation sessions that had preceded the conference discussed the following: the modernist method for treating incontinence and women’s disease’s tracks; what’s new in the surgeries of male installations erectile dysfunction in men and also what’s new in the flexible endoscopes and using laser in urology surgeries tracks.

The attendees included an elite group of academic staff, their assistants, and doctors of the Urology Track Surgery department from various Egyptian universities.
