The Department of International Organizations and Conferences (General Directorate of Cultural Relations) at the Supreme Council of Universities announces based on a letter received by the Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, forwarded from the Chairman of the Atomic Energy Authority—the following:
“The Seventeenth Arab Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy – 2026”
The conference will be held in Baghdad, Iraq, from December 13 to 17, 2026, and is organized by the Arab Atomic Energy Agency in cooperation with the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission.
The letter states that nominations must be submitted to the Atomic Energy Authority no later than May 19, 2026. Submissions should include a hard copy of the research paper, an electronic copy (on CD), a copy of a valid passport, and duly completed travel forms (attached below). Kindly note the following:
Researchers must submit their participation requests directly—after obtaining all required approvals—no later than June 10, 2026, exclusively via the conference email: arabconf17@gmail.com.
Applicants must ensure that their research papers comply with the conference’s preparation guidelines (attached below).
Submitted papers must be original and must not have been previously published in any journal or conference, nor submitted elsewhere for publication.
