Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan university president, today corresponding to March 2, 2022 , Aswan University’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center visited the faculty of medicine. The committee met Prof. Muhammad Zaki Al-Dahshoury, faculty of medicine’s dean. The meeting was attended by Prof. Muhammad Mustafa Amin, vice dean for community service and environmental development, Dr. Ali Muhammad Yunus, director of quality assurance and accreditation unit, members of the Unit, as well as a group of academic staff and their assistants.
The committee included:-
- Prof. Montaser Mohamed Mohamed Mahmoud, professor in the faculty of engineering.
- Prof. Ahmed Abdel Moneim Faramawy, assistant professor in the faculty of archeology.
- Prof. Eman Mohamed Wagdy, assistant professor in the faculty of specific education.
- Dr. Essam Mohamed Mousa.
The current status of the quality program at the faculty of medicine was introduced; formation of faculty’s quality committee, assigning academic staff to the main axes of the program, identifying the obstacles, as well as setting a timetable for the completion of the criteria necessary for the faculty to obtain accreditation.
