Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of Aswan University, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and within the activities of the joint European-Egyptian project (Certificate of Modifying Immunity for Postgraduate Students by The Integrated Education), on Wednesday morning, March 1, 2023, Prof. Claude Lampard – a trainer from France and a member of the joint European-Egyptian project, and Prof. Mikhail Michael – an external resident from the project from Germany, visited the headquarters of the Faculty of Medicine in New Aswan City, where they were accompanied by Prof. Shazly Baghdadi – Head of Chest Diseases Department in Aswan Medicine, the project coordinator, and Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Amin – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, where they toured the headquarters of the laboratory to be established through the project at the university and to ensure the extent of its equipment. After that, the visit was followed by a training course on “Flowcytometry”.
“Lampard”, a trainer from France and a member of the joint European-Egyptian project, lectured on it for 3 days, as the training course began on Thursday, corresponding to March 2, 2023, and continued until Saturday, corresponding March 4, and that was in the attendance of a group of academic staff and the assisting body in the following sections:-
-Medical Microbiology and Immunology.
-Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
-Pathology (pathology).
