Aswan University announces the opening of nominations for the fourth edition of the ”King Salman Global Award for Disability Research”, in line with the letter received from the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the circulation of the memorandum issued by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation concerning the award.
The letter stated that applications must be submitted electronically through the award’s official website, and that the winners will be announced in December 2026. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also confirmed that there are no political restrictions preventing participation or nomination for the award.
The award aims to support and encourage specialized scientific research in the field of disability and to promote research efforts that contribute to improving services and care provided to persons with disabilities worldwide.
