At its session No. 35 on December 17, 2019, the Faculty of Medicine Council approved the following decisions regarding honors batches and deputies in all departments of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University:
1- Approval of the training course: Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS) is authorized by the American Heart Association (AHA) as a primary requirement for Faculty of Medicine graduates to receive the Certificate of Excellence.
2- Approval of the training courses: Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS), Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for Adults (ACLS), and Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for Children (PALS), approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) as a main requirement for granting a master’s degree at the Faculty of Medicine.
3-For resident doctors, it is necessary to attend the course during their first year of work to benefit scientifically from the training within the university hospital.
4- Following the training, the trainee will obtain a certificate approved by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Training is conducted through the Center for Continuing Medical Education.
Note:
The decision will be applied to honors batches and deputies starting in 2020.
