The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery provides several services, including instruction for students in their sixth year at the Faculty of Medicine and therapy for patients in the Aswan Governorate, including:
-Pleural pneumothorax cases.
-Cases of haemorrhage in the pleural and pericardial membranes.
-Cases of rib fractures.
-Cases of inhalation of foreign bodies.
