As an implementation of continuing medical education policy, and as a continuation of the series of weekly scientific meetings of the department of pediatrics, under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan university president, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki El Dahshoury, dean of the faculty of medicine and chairman of Aswan university hospitals, and Dr. Ashraf Meabad, executive manager of Aswan university hospitals, today corresponding to January 31, 2022, the weekly scientific day of the department of pediatrics was launched, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Bahaa El-Din El-Amir, chairman of the department. Scientific meetings will be followed periodically to follow up on the new issues in this field. The scientific day handled a lecture on proteinuria and kidney disease in children and was entitled
“Evaluation of Proteinuria in Children”
It was lectured by Dr. Sahar Kamal Kamel, assistant lecturer in the department of pediatrics. The attendance included a group of academic staff, their assistants, and doctors from Aswan university hospital’s pediatrics department.
