The study of medications, their suppliers, their chemical makeup, and their properties are all covered under the field of pharmacology.
It is important to note that John Jacob Abel’s work, which demonstrated the significance of the chemistry of medicinal compounds and their connection to the effect of medication on the body, contributed to the emergence of pharmacology as a separate science at the end of the 19th century.
My advice to my students is to always communicate with academic staff and their assistants to clarify anything that is difficult to grasp because science alone is dull and lifeless. Your aim should be to understand before you memorize.
