Today corresponding to 22nd of March 2017, the International Conference on Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery kicked off and is scheduled to continue until Friday corresponding to 24th March under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, and the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Hussein Al-Sharif, in the presence of Aswan governor Maj. Gen. Magdy Hegazy and the vice dean of education and students’ affairs Prof. Hanan Abdel Moneim. It was held under the supervision of Prof. Abdel-Matin Moussa, chairman of the conference, Prof. Essam Abul-Majd, chairman of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, and Prof. Abdul Rahman Al-Tahan, general coordinator of the conference. It was attended by a selected group of professors of medicine in various universities. The conference aims at transferring expertise between old and young physicians and keeping up with the latest developments in the field of otorhinolaryngology and preparing to host scientific conferences that help in flourishing tourism in Aswan governorate.
