According to the directions of the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshouri and under the supervision of the vice dean of education and students’ affairs Prof. Mustafa Adam Al-Tiri, today corresponding to 8th April 2019, the members of the Scientific Research Committee of the faculty student’s scientific association AMSA-Aswan prepared a workshop to explain the basics of scientific research entitled “Research Time” in order to spread awareness of the importance of scientific research and its various types. The workshop handled the most important reliable medical research sites, the benefits of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, how to get reliable information in treating patients and the effectiveness of the international publishing at the individual, the institutional and the state levels. The workshop witnessed the presence of Prof. Dahshori and the vice dean of community service and environmental development Prof. Abdul-Rahman Al-Tahan, who praised the importance of scientific research. Prof. Dahshori encouraged students to participate in such activities in this young age, he promised to honor them and to distribute valuable prizes to motivate them for international publishing.

The workshop included students from different batches, and the lion’s share was for the first batch. The members of the scientific committee seek to repeat such workshop so as to spread awareness to more students.
