Aswan University President Witnessed Final Graduation of Students Activity at the Faculty of Medicine for the Academic Year 2024/2025

With the honor of Prof. Loai Saad Al-Din Nasarat-Acting of Aswan University President, on Tuesday corresponding to May 13,2025, the Faculty of Medicine administration headed by Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine celebrated the final celebration of students activities for the academic year 2024/2025 in attendance of Prof.Mohamed Mostafa Hussein – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mustafa Adam El-Tayri – Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ashraf Maabad – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Sadek – General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Dr. Hussein Mohamed Hussein – General Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty.

”Student Union” and ”Students for Egypt” organized the celebration which started with holy verses from the Qur’an followed by the national anthem, the celebration witnessed a remarkable show for students’ artistic talents such as chanting, poetry and singing.

In his speech, Acting President Louai welcomed the attendees, praising the college’s effective role in combining academic activity, represented by the regular launch of scientific conferences and workshops, with recreational activities, including student activities, thus achieving a balanced equation between hard work and entertainment.

Al-Dahshoury, the dean of the faculty, stated that the faculty administration always seeks to engage students in scientific conferences organized by the faculty’s departments to graduate competent doctors who will be a fit nucleus for serving patients in the medical field. The administration also strives to support them in all student activities, instilling in them the positive energy needed to continue their studies with diligence and perseverance.

Younis, the faculty’s vice dean for education and student affairs, complimented the efforts of the “Union Students” and “Students for Egypt” families, who did not hesitate to assist their new and old classmates and offer them with support to advance in college. He encouraged pupils to participate in more activities, as a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.

During the ceremony, shields were handed to university and faculty leaders, heads of all academic and clinical departments, and distinguished students. The celebration also honored faculty staff, led by Ms. Nevin Abdel Qader, Secretary of the Faculty of Medicine, and Ms. Iman Abdel Salam, Youth Care Officer of the faculty, for their efforts in supporting students and academic staff. The organizing students from the ”Student Union”, as well as the ”Students for Egypt” family, were honored in a joy and happy atmosphere.
