New Internal Medicine Hospital-Aswan University- Obtains International Accreditation

Prof. Loai Sa’ad Al-Din Nasrat-Acting of Aswan University Hospital announces New Internal Medicine Hospital obtains “GAHAR” accreditation of Control and Accreditation Authority affiliated to Council of Ministers, in a a step considered a qualitative addition to Aswan University Hospitals aims to provide distinguished medical and therapeutic services to Aswan Governorate people and patients in Upper Egypt.

 

Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, explained that the Internal Medicine Hospital is a cutting-edge medical facility that keeps up with the governorate’s medical renaissance, thanks to the Faculty of Medicine’s presence as an academic and scientific center that supports the development of the health system. The hospital has five floors and 150 beds, including 58 intensive care beds with ventilators, as well as departments for general and specific internal medicine, brain and nerves, heart, oncology, chest, dermatology, and physical therapy.

 

Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Din, Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, stated that the university’s hospitals are undergoing an incomparable qualitative leap, with the goal of improving the healthcare system for patients in Aswan Governorate and Upper Egypt governorates.

 

In the same context, Prof. Ramdan Ghalab, Director of Internal Medicine Hospital, stated that the hospital is considered a significant addition that reflects the country’s interesting and policy pioneers in citizen health, ensuring continuous work with full energy despite rising rates of attendance in emergency and reception departments, and calling for a concerted effort to raise health awareness for patients and their families.
