In light of the fruitful and constructive collaboration between the Supreme Council of Universities and the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education, which has enabled students at various Egyptian universities to make significant gains and resulted in an increase in both the quantity and quality of activities to achieve the overall goal of developing the Egyptian student.
To highlight the identity of student activities and achieve the goal of developing an informed generation, the Ministry is establishing a competition among specialized colleges at Egyptian universities on:
“Design a logo for the Student Activities Sector”
A committee of specialist academic members will be created to review the submitted work. The top three pieces will be chosen, and the winning pupils will be acknowledged. The competition will run through March, with evaluation beginning on April 1, 2025.
Student Activities Logo Design Criteria:
Diversity of Activities: The logo should reflect the vast range of student activities, which may include cultural, sporting, artistic, scientific, social, and other types.
Activity goals: The logo should reflect the aims of student activities, such as strengthening student skills, establishing a spirit of collaboration, encouraging active involvement, and developing a generation of leaders.
Logo Design Technical Specifications:
Colors: Use only three bold, expressive colors that draw attention and represent the vitality of student activities.
Fonts: Select clear, easy-to-read fonts that reflect a youthful student identity and the tone of student activities.
Composition: The overall design of the logo must be harmonious and appealing, blending the numerous parts in a balanced manner and reflecting a united identity.
Submissions should have the following format:
Send a PDF file with the design in color and black and white, measures 2cm, 7cm, and 15cm.
Send a functional file (AI).
Include a PDF mockup file to show visuals of the logo’s applications after printing.
Students should email their artwork to (medicine.editor@aswu.edu.eg) before the deadline, following all criteria to assure a chance to compete in the competition.
