The Central Department of Cultural Relations (Department of International Organizations and Conferences) announces, according to what was received by the Council’s Secretariat from the Dr. of the government and investment relations sector, including the scholarship provided by L’Oreal Egypt in partnership with UNESCO through the program:
“For the sake of women in science”
Which aims to enhance the participation of female researchers in the fields of science from Egypt. This program selects and rewards outstanding young women scientists in the following fields:
Life science such as: (biology, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, physiology, neurosciences, biotechnology, ecology, and behavioral science).
Physical science such as: (physics, chemistry, petroleum engineering, mathematics, engineering science, information science, and geology).
The program annually honors three distinguished young Egyptian female researchers for the quality of their research work and encourages them to continue a valuable career in the field of science, noting that this scholarship helps create good opportunities for Egyptian university students and raises their standing before participants from all countries of the world. On the other hand, it contributes to creating a new generation of women scientists who represent Egypt’s future.
