The Executive Committee for Missions’ Decision About Extending the Deadline of Previous Missions’ Plans

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Office announces the letters received from some dispatching authorities regarding a request to provide them with the position of the academic staff and their assistants regarding the candidates of the Eighth Five-Year Plan 2017-2022 from the different years of travel whether with or without financial support by the missions or its stumbling due to the economic crisis.

Accordingly, we inform you that in light of Cabinet Resolution No. 69  for the year 2023 regarding the rationalization of public spending, and the keenness of the Central Administration for Scholarships to adhere to its commitment to the students to perform its mission to the fullest extent and to provide them with material and moral support during the period of their dispatch abroad; after presenting the issue to the Executive Committee for Scholarships in a session on December 20, 2022, it has been decided to approve the following:

-Extending the deadline for the implementation of scholarship plans for 2019/2020, and 2020/2021 (for all students who submitted all documents required for travel but were unable to travel to date) until 6/30/2023.


-Extending the deadline for implementing the scholarship plan, Fifth Announcement (Part One), 2021–2022, until June 30, 2023, so that students can complete their travel procedures.
