The Deadline for the Submission of Graduate Students’ Protocols and Research Topics is February 2026

 

The Postgraduate Studies and Research Department, Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, headed by Prof. Mustafa Adam El-Tiri, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announces that the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee and the Research Ethics Committee will convene on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Dean’s Office at Aswan University Hospital.

The deadlines for graduate students (Master’s and PhD) are as follows:

-Submission of Master’s and PhD research protocols and postdoctoral research proposals is Monday, January 26, 2026.
-To receive the postgraduate studies topics is on Monday corresponding to 2 February, 2026.

Notes:

-A maximum of six (6) Master’s research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.

-A maximum of four (4) PhD research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.

-A maximum of five (5) postdoctoral research proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.

-Master’s and PhD students whose research protocols are scheduled for discussion before the Graduate Studies Committee must wear a white coat during the discussion.

-Applicants must adhere to the form prepared by the Postgraduate Studies Department and follow the accompanying instructions, which can be accessed via the provided link.

-Students whose protocols are accepted must submit an electronic copy to the committee members via email at (postgraduateethicsmembers@aswu.edu.eg ) and a hard copy, approved and signed by their supervisors, to the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty.

-Submissions received after the specified deadlines will not be considered.
