The Supreme Council of Universities (General Administration of Cultural Relations – Department of International Organizations and Conferences) announces that, with reference to the letter of the Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Office of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which includes that in light of the role played by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as Chairman of the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture and the activation and implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan Vision 2023, and with regard to the educational and academic process, it was noted that recently some ministries, public bodies and other administrative bodies have contacted the presidents of universities and international organizations for education, science and culture (UNESCO – ALECSO – ISESCO) to hold some events without coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture.
In this regard; the periodical letter by Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers in May 2025 about the recommendations of the Prime Minister to take into consideration issuing universities and international institutions for education, science and culture only after the coordination with Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
As a result, please coordinate with the Supreme Council ahead of time before participating in any events so that we can cooperate with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as provide us with a map of all events before they take place and their dates each year.
