The Therapeutic Unit is the primary unit of the Aswan University Employees and Their Families Healthcare Fund Project, which is based in Aswan University Hospital. It is considered a special unit, and the Board of Directors is headed by Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals.
The unit aims to provide medical services to employees and their families during the service and pension period, provided that the prescribed subscriptions are paid, so that the subscription to the fund is open for a month from the start of the applicable financial year (July 1st of each year), after which no individual is allowed to subscribe except for newborns and newlyweds.
