The Office of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture announces the opening of nominations for the Nile Awards for Egyptian Creators, Nile Awards for Arab Creators, and Nile Awards for Appreciation and Excellence in the Arts, Literature, and Social Sciences for 2025.
Those intending to run for office must meet all of the connected legal conditions and rules, as well as provide justifications for the nomination (details of the grounds for the nomination should be no more than one page long). These arguments are regarded as part of the documents, and the nomination process is incomplete without them. Here are the necessary attachments:
-CV and personal information for each candidate (no more than 10 pages, one printed on paper and one transferred to a CD (in “Word” and “PDF” formats). Selected samples of the candidate’s work, no more than five (for the Excellence Award only).
-Sending formal confirmation from the candidate to accept the nomination.
-A copy of the national identification card.
-A personal photo was uploaded to the CD.
-It is important to bring a bank letter with the candidate’s account number.
-The nominee for the State Award for Excellence must demonstrate that fifteen years or more have passed from the start of his artistic or intellectual work.
-Candidates for these honors cannot include any of the nominating body’s officers, chairmen of its boards of directors or trustees, or ministers at the time of accepting responsibilities.

A list of the names of the nominated members of the body and the minutes of the body meeting in which their nominations for the State Awards were approved are attached.
The internal norms of the Council regulating the State Awards state that nominations will not be referred to the competent examination committees unless they meet all of the conditions specified for each nomination.
The deadline for submitting nominations to the Supreme Council of Culture (1 El-Gabalaya Street, Opera House, El-Gezira, Cairo) is Monday, December 31, 2024.
