Continuing and emphasizing the correct approach to the promotion of medical service in subspecialties, today Corresponding to 25th March 2021, a workshop was held to train physicians from different governorates to use a flexible endoscope for calculi extraction from the ureter and kidney without surgery, and this type of surgical interventions is high-precision and needs to Skills which are only available in University Hospital in Urology Department, and the flexible ureteroscope is one of the latest methods for calculi extraction and requires the high technique of equipment and cadres that are only available in the university hospital.
Prof. Ahmed Rashid Abdel-Latif _ Professor of Urology and Endoscopy in Sohag Medicine_ has lectured at the workshop, Dr. Hassan Ali _ Assistant Lecturer in the Urology Department_ was the coordinator, and was in attendance of a selected group of Academic staff, their assistants, and physicians in the department.
