Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of the University, Prof. Loay Saad El Din, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Mustafa Adam Al-Tiri, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, The General Administration of Student Welfare, “Department of Families Activity and Student Union,” announces that tomorrow, Thursday, November 24, 2022, the door for candidates for the Student Union elections for the academic year 2022/23 will be opened.
The final lists will be announced and the door will be opened for appeals in accordance with the deadlines by the Elections Management Committee, which is led by Al-Tairi and is comprised of the Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Hussein Mohamed Hussein, Secretary of the Faculty, Ms. Nevin Abdel Qader, and the remaining members.
According to Resolution No. 352 of 2019 and with the approval of the University President, the student elections are held in accordance with the financial and administrative regulations of the Student Union. They are also conducted in accordance with the proposed schedule for the elections of the Students’ Union of Egyptian Universities and Institutes, according to “Al-Dahshoury”-Dean of the Faculty
Vice-Dean for Student Affairs “Al-Tiri” urged his students to actively participate in the elections, practice democracy and freedom in expressing their opinions and making decisions, select whoever they believed to be their representative, and put their money into what the political leadership promised to do to encourage young people to practice democratic work.
