An Invitation to Participate in the Fourth Cycle of the ”King Salman Award” for Disability Research

The Department of International Organizations and Conferences (General Directorate of Cultural Relations) at the Supreme Council of Universities announces based on a letter received from the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities, the opening of nominations for the fourth cycle of the King Salman Award for Disability Research. The award is organized by the King Salman Center for Disability Research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This international award aims to support scientific research and innovation, as well as to enhance international cooperation in the field of disability, with the goal of improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and their families.
Award Details:
Target Fields: The award covers the following areas: medical and health sciences, educational sciences, and rehabilitation and social sciences.
Award Value: Each winner in the respective fields will receive a monetary prize of USD 133,000 (one hundred and thirty-three thousand US dollars), in addition to a medal and a certificate of recognition.

Announcement Date: The winners will be announced in December 2026.
