
The General Administration of Cultural Relations (Department of International Organizations and Conferences) announces opening nominations for the Japanese Doctor / Hideyo Noguchi Prize for Africa in the fields of (medical research – medical services).
The total value of the prizes is valued at approximately one million US dollars, and it is scheduled to receive the prize within the framework of events of the eighth session of Tokyo International Conference on African Development / TICAD, which will be held in Tunisia in 2022.
The Japanese Doctor / Hideo Noguchi Prize was launched for the first time in July 2006 to honor personalities who have made distinguished contributions in the field of research and medical services to regions facing the spread of infectious diseases in Africa. The prize is granted every five years, and the first prize was awarded in 2008 and the second in June 2013, And the third on the sidelines of the work the seventh session of TICAD in August 2019.
Those who want to be nominated must fulfill all requirements, no later than 1st August 2021, so that the embassy in Tokyo can take the necessary action.
