The Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mostafa Adam El-Teiry, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announces that the meetings of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee and the Scientific Research Ethics Committee will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Dean’s Office at Aswan University Hospital.
The submission deadlines for postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD candidates) are as follows:
– Research protocols: Monday, October 26, 2026, for Master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral research.
– Research topics: Monday, November 2, 2026, for postgraduate students.
Important Notes:
1. A maximum of six (6) Master’s research protocols will be accepted, in order of submission. Any additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.
2. A maximum of four (4) PhD research protocols will be accepted, in order of submission. Any additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.
3. A maximum of five (5) postdoctoral research proposals will be accepted, in order of submission. Any additional submissions will be deferred to the following month.
4. Master’s and PhD students presenting their research protocols before the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee must wear a white lab coat during their presentations.
5. Applicants must use the official template provided by the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research and comply with the specified guidelines, available “here” (#).
6. Students whose protocols have been accepted must email an electronic copy to the committee members at postgraduateethicsmembers@aswu.edu.eg. A hard copy, duly endorsed by the supervisors, must also be submitted to the Postgraduate Studies Office at the faculty.
7. Submissions received after the specified deadlines will not be considered.
