Aswan university received the students by holding a marathon from the Unfinished Obelisk to the university headquarters in Sahary City. Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab partook in the marathon with 150 male students and 100 female ones then the academic staff and the dean of the faculty of physical education participated. At the end of the marathon, rewards were distributed to the winners and the Marathon 1st Place Cup was delivered. The students also participated in the Kayak game in Aswan Rowing Club. Prof. Ghallab stressed that the university took all the precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 while holding the marathon.
