Within the framework of following-up the Abu Simbel accident, and under the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of Aswan University, visited the victims of the Abu Simbel road accident at Aswan University Hospital to reassure On their health condition and providing them with all aspects of full medical care in various departments, accompanied by the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Ashraf Ahmed Maabed – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, Surgery is also underway for an injured person in the orthopedic department, and surgery is being carried out for an injured person in the cosmetic department.
It is worth noting that Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, and Prof. Ayman Othman, President of the University, received at Aswan University Hospital the French Ambassador, the Belgian Ambassador and the delegation accompanying them, to check on the condition of the injured from the two countries.
The two ambassadors thanked Aswan University and the administration of Aswan University Hospital for the medical efforts that were made in receiving the injured while providing full medical care.
On the other hand, Prof. Ayman Othman, President of the University and the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic accident, which afflicted our hearts and the hearts of all Egyptians, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
