Aswan Medicine Announcement About the Opportunity of Appointing Academic Demonstration and Clinical Resident Physicians

Aswan University announces the availability of teaching assistant positions in academic departments and resident physician positions in clinical departments, to be filled through secondment from applicants’ current institutions for a period of three years.
Applications are open to graduates of the 2023 cohort under the (5+2) academic system.

Application period begins from Sunday, January 11, 2026, to Monday, January 26, 2026 (15 days)

1-Be a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, Class of 2022/2023.
2-Have obtained a minimum overall grade of Very Good, and a grade of Very Good in the relevant specialty subject.
3-Have successfully completed the mandatory internship period.

Physicians’ data and preferences shall be registered using the designated form, in accordance with the Resident Physicians Regulations and Ministerial Decree No. 397 dated February 20, 2024.
All applicants must fulfill the conditions stipulated in Law No. 49 of 1972 regarding the Organization of Egyptian Universities and Law No. 81 of 2016 concerning the Civil Service and its Executive Regulations, in addition to the following:

 

Eligibility Conditions:
-Be a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, Class of 2023, under the (5+2) academic system.
-Have obtained an overall grade of Very Good, and a grade of Very Good in the specialty subject.
-If no applicant has obtained a grade of Very Good in the specialty subject, one applicant with a grade of Good may be nominated.
-Have completed the mandatory internship (training) period.
-Must not have received any disciplinary penalties during the training period related to professional ethics or conduct.
-Appointment shall not take effect until the applicant passes the professional licensing examination and obtains the internship completion certificate.
-No modifications to preferences are allowed after submission to the Medical Affairs Department.
-Applicants may withdraw their preferences within three days after the closing date of the announcement; otherwise, the application will be canceled.
-Applications must be submitted using the designated form during the application period (January 11–26, 2026).
-Preferences must be submitted in person or through an authorized representative within the specified period; failure to do so will be considered a withdrawal from all advertised positions.

-Copy of the graduation certificate.
-Copy of academic transcripts for all years of study.
-Copy of the national ID card.
-Military service status certificate (for male applicants).
-Training statement for doctors whose internship ends on February 28, 2026.
-Copy of the internship completion certificate.
-Two recent passport-size photographs.
-Copy of the birth certificate.
