Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Aswan University President announced that Aswan University Hospital announced lifting the state of emergency, where Aswan University Hospital Administration made extreme preparations for Eid Al-Adha preparations. ”Othman”-University President- pointed out the assignment of Aswan University Hospitals to follow the regularity and quality of health service provided through this period as caring for the safety of patients in light of applying all precautionary measures to face the novel corona-virus as well as taking into consideration the visiting dates of the patients in their determined dates caring for the safety of the patients and no-crowding inside the departments of Aswan University Hospital, and this by applying the emergency plan through Eid Al-Adha days.
Prof.Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Aswan University Hospitals Administration added that the plan seeks to raise the state of high alert in the reception, emergency, operations, and intensive care departments, besides providing sufficient quantities of the medical tools and requirements, drags and necessary blood bags to ensure provide medical service on the same level as usual through Eid days, with increasing the work of the existed individuals from doctors and nursing staff, and putting precise and fair schedules for evacuations, with preparing spare staff to the shifting staff to take over the work in the case of emergency obstacles the work of the existed staffs, and this as the keenness of the hospital administrations to provide the best available medical services to Aswan Governorate patients.
Dr. Ashraf Maabad- Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, explained that all medical capabilities have been provided to serve Aswan Governorate patients and the southern governorates of Upper Egypt patients, from devices such as a (CT scan machine) at Aswan University Hospital to serve patients in all departments of Aswan University Hospital in addition to the experimental operation of Internal Medicine Hospital – Aswan University which is considered a real addition to receiving more emergency cases.
