Central Administration of Technical Affairs of Councils, Committees of University Education Sectors, and Cultural Relations at the Supreme Council of Universities announce the following decision:
(The approval of the mechanism and conditions of Digital Transformation Fundamentals Course Certificate FDTC in the Egyptian Universities)
As the following:
1-Considering Digital Transformation Fundamentals Course (FDTC) as a requirement for getting any postgraduate certificate in the Egyptian Universities for the enrolled students in postgraduate studies beginning of 1/2/2022, according to the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities that was issued 18/7/2019, and modifying the internal regulation of the faculties and institutes of the Egyptian Universities, which allows applying Basics Digital Transformation Certificate instead of another certificate in the field of Information Technology; on condition that all accredited certification by the Supreme Council of Universities must be recognized about this matter and issued before 1/2/2022.
2-Considering Digital Transformation Fundamentals Course (FDTC) within the required optional promoting courses in the university for academic staff that apply for ranking to an assistant professor or a professor; a minimum of one course and a maximum 2 courses of the optional courses of the FDTC certificate; on the condition each of which is counted as one of the required promotion courses.
3-Digital Transformation Fundamentals Course (FDTC) that got by a demonstrator or an assistant professor is counted by taking 2 courses from the required courses in the university.
4-It’s allowed trainees to enter directly without attending the training program or the qualified training programs to get Digital Transformation Fundamentals Course or re-turn test; the trainee must bear a total amount of (60) sixty pounds for each training program he wants to enter to test in it directly without attending the training program or the qualified training programs, 40 pounds for the approved training center and 20 pounds for each training program affiliated to the Central Traning Unit in the Supreme Council of Universities in exchange for opening tests, Copywrites, and automatic systems for tests; in the case of failure to achieve to the target percentage to pass the training program, the trainee must attend the whole training program(s) that he didn’t pass with an entire cost which is distributed according to the former rules that are mentioned before about this matter.
