Within the framework of the scientific activity of the Continuing Medical Education Unit, the Department of Anesthesia, Surgical Intensive Care and Pain Management at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Din – Executive Director of University Hospitals, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Saeed – Scientific Supervisor of the Department, and Dr. Tarek Sayed Hamida – Administrative Supervisor of the Department, held a workshop on the morning of Friday, January 24, 2025, in the Emergency Hall of the Surgery Hospital, entitled:
“Peri-operative point of care ultrasound (POCUS)”
The trainers were:
Dr. Saudi Salah Hammad.
Dr. Zaher Zaki Zaher.
Dr. Tarek Sayed Hamida.
Provided a comprehensive explanation of ultrasound in surgical care to the attendees, which included a group of academic staff and doctors in the department.
