Al-Batinah Specialized Hospital welcomed a delegation from the sheikhdom of Al-Azhar yesterday, November 30, 2022, led by Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Major General/ Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, and Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
“Othman” President of Aswan University, emphasized the importance of the service, medical, and educational roles provided by Aswan University hospitals, led by Aswan University Hospital for Patients in the Governorate, as well as patients from the governorates of southern Upper Egypt. The visit falls within the framework of reducing the suffering of patients and working to put a smile on their lips and satisfying them, especially the patient’s visit is considered a prophetic sunnah that everyone must follow and pray for a speedy recovery.
The fact that visit included inspecting the internal and dialysis departments, as well as a number of other departments in the hospital, in the context of the field follow-up to determine patient problems and work to solve them, as well as improving the values of cooperation and communication and working to provide all medical care for patients in various departments, added to his sovereignty.
According to Al-Dahshuory, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, this falls within the framework of the university’s and various hospitals’ roles in upgrading the health system in Aswan and working to develop the health system.
Al-Dahshuory also thanked and appreciated the delegation of Al-Azhar for the frequent visits to university hospitals, which have a good impact on patients’ hearts.
In the same context, “Mabead,” Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, stated that the hospital is undergoing remarkable development by completing medical constructions that serve the health system in the governorate and neighboring governorates, and work is currently underway to complete the specialized centers, emergency hospital, and reception.
The visit of Al-Batniyah Specialized Hospital, Aswan University, came under the directives of His Eminence Dr. Al-Hawary, Assistant Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, under the supervision of Dr. Murtaja Abdel-Raouf, Director General of Aswan preaching region and head of the Fatwa Committee, with the participation of a group of sheiks in the call to Al-Azhar as following to the prophetic sunnah from visiting patients and pray for them for a speedy recovery, as well as Al-Sadr and Fever Hospitals, the Oncology Institute, and Aswan University Hospital were visited.
