Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan University President, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the events of the annual conference of the cardiovascular medicine department were launched at the Tulip Hotel in Ismailia Governorate, under the supervision of Prof. Ramadan Ghaleb, Conference President and Head of the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and Prof. Hossam Mansour, Conference President and Head of the Interventional Catheterization Conference.
It is worth noting that the conference activities lasted two days, Thursday and Friday, January 18–19, 2024, and were sponsored by Aswan University, the Egyptian Society of Cardiology, the French Society of Cardiology, and Al-Salam International Hospital, in collaboration with the Interventional Catheterization Conference.
After the republican anthem, Ghaleb, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Aswan Medicine, welcomed the attending cardiologists from Egypt’s governorates and South Upper Egypt, as well as conference guests from various universities, pointing to the importance of holding these conferences where doctors can exchange experiences and work, and promoting educational tourism by organizing the conference in Ismailia Governorate.
It is worth noting that the department organizes annual medical conferences in which professors of cardiovascular medicine from various medical faculties at international, regional, and Egyptian universities participate, to develop the scientific research system, exchange experiences between young doctors and those with experience, and learn everything new about cardiology.
”Mansour” Head of the Interventional Catheter Department Conference, explained that many specialized doctors of cardiology participate in the conference from various universities, pointing out that before the conference there was a workshop held at Al-Salam International Hospital under the chairmanship of the German Prof. Deepak Jan, which discussed a complete explanation of interventional catheters and the ways of treating cases of kidney stenosis of the coronary arteries.
On the sidelines of the conference, the conference’s leaders and coordinators honor the conference guests in appreciation for their contributions to the conference’s success.
