Under the patronage of Prof. Muhammad Zaki El-Dahshoury, dean of the faculty of medicine, the faculty hosted Prof. Muhammad Mahmoud Hafez, professor of virology and immunology at Oncology Institute, Cairo university, and Prof. Zainab Qarni Muhammad, professor of virology and immunology at oncology institute, Cairo university, and Dr. Hany Kamal, assistant lecturer of virology and immunology in oncology institute Cairo University who held a training course for academic staff and their assistants in the departments of medical biochemistry, medical microbiology and immunology, in the presence of Prof. Abdullah Al-Obaidi, chairman of medical biochemistry department, and Prof. Muhammad Mustafa Amin, chairman of medical microbiology and immunology department:
- Dr. Hoda Sultan Sharkawy, lecturer of medical biochemistry
- Dr. Taghreed Hussein Eid, assistant lecturer of medical biochemistry
- Doctor Walaa Arafa Awad, demonstrator in the department of medical biochemistry
- Dr. Afaf Shoaib Hussein, demonstrator in the department of medical biochemistry
The course included a theoretical explanation and practical training on:
- Elisa
- PCR
- Tissue Culture.
- Flow Cytometry.
The training course started on Saturday, March 12, 2022, and is expected to continue until Wednesday, March 15, at the headquarters of Advanced Research Laboratory at Sahary Medical Complex.
